‘The Flash’ star Mark Duplass joins the cast of ‘Star Wars Rebels’

The Star Wars Rebels TV show will debut later this month, with Mark Duplart joining the cast for its second season.

The actor joins the duo of Jay Hernandez (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Andrew W.K. (The Last Jedi).

“This is a special moment for me,” Duplass said.

“I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the great directors that I’ve worked with, and to be able to work on the next phase of the Rebels series is very exciting.

It’s a chance to build upon my knowledge of Star Wars lore and mythology with the fans, and it will allow me to expand on my storytelling style to a whole new level.

I’m very excited about it.”

Duplass and Wooten will be joined by the voices of the original Star Wars actors and writers, including John Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Daisy Ridley, Anthony Daniels, John Boyens, Emilia Clarke, Anthony Gonzalez, and Lupita Nyong’o.

The series will be co-produced by the Lucasfilm Group and Twentieth Century Fox Television.

Star Wars: Rebels will premiere in 2018 on the Disney XD network.
