I’ve been doing graphic design professionally for quite a while now.
While it is a great career move, it has its upsides and downsides, and sometimes, you get burned out.
I think the biggest reason why I decided I wanted to become an illustrator was that my brother and I had just graduated from university, so it was time to give it another go.
My brother had a great job in an industry where people were starting to learn the ropes and I wanted more experience.
So, I jumped in.
After I started drawing a few days later, I got a call from a graphic designer who had been a part of Paragon for almost a year and wanted to meet me.
The first thing that came out of his mouth was “Hey, do you like my work?”
I said “Of course I do!” and he asked if I would be willing to go to a coffee shop and get some coffee.
He then told me that I should be looking for an agency.
“I’m a graphic artist,” I said.
“How do I go about that?”
“Just tell them you’re looking for a graphic design agency, and they’ll get back to you,” he said.
I asked what kind of agency he was looking for, and he said it was “a full service agency.”
“Okay,” I thought.
I’d been told that it was the best option.
I told him I’d be happy to take a look at his portfolio and make a decision based on my experience.
But he then said “You’ve got to be patient.
It’ll take a few months to figure out what’s best for you.
You can still work with them after that, but I think you’ll need to be in contact with them more frequently, and that means email.”
I was in shock.
I was not ready for this.
I had never even been to an agency, let alone contacted one.
It was all very confusing.
But I was ready.
I was also ready to be the next great graphic designer.
What I didn’t expect was for him to make me promise to work with him again after a year, so I did.
A few months later, he called and said “I need you to be a graphic architect,” which is what I thought I was doing.
There was no doubt about the company I was working for.
They had an excellent portfolio and I knew that I had a solid track record of working with clients.
It was a great experience.
I worked for Paragon, and it’s been a great transition.
When I first joined the agency, I was a full-time student and full- time employee.
As I’ve grown, I’ve also learned a lot about what it takes to be successful in the graphic design industry.
I’m currently a freelancer and work from home for about 15 hours a week.
Paragon’s graphic design portfolio is well worth the money and time it costs to have them as a client.
You’ll be working with talented designers who have an amazing ability to draw and create, and a great commitment to detail and design.
And, they are also highly trained.
Their team of graphic designers has the best customer service in the industry.
If you have any questions, you can email Paragon directly at [email protected] or call them at 602-878-1799.
